Le Bal Des Eternels

In April of 1997, Fairlight spent five days in the 24 tracks studio where their French friends of the band Kalisia's lead singer and rhythm guitarist "screams" on two tracks (Fields and Dreamquest) of Fairlihgt's demo. Before releasing their five tracks on tape, the French record label Thunder Productions decided to release and promote the demo on CD. In April of 1998, 700 CD's of the demo "Le Bal Des Eternels" are issued. Distributed under license by Thunder Productions with Tripsichord, the demo received great reviews in the French and international medias. Unfortunately, two months after the release of the demo, Thunder Productions stopped its activities. Fairlight made 300 new copies only for France, and "Le Bal Des Eternels" distribution will spread to Europe in the beginning of 2000 thanks to a new contract with the Danish label Diamond Records, directed by the manager of King Diamond and Mercyful Fate.
